  I've been coming here for over 15 year's. The atmosphere is great, the food is great, and the chips/salsa is great, however all that can be contributed to the origional owners because since the change in ownership the prices have significantly increased and most upsetting is the service has gone way down hill over the years. If this place is busy you will definitely get poor service. I hope management reads this and gets it together.

  Recently moved from an area in California with GREAT Mexican food, to here in Tulare County. Most Mexican restaurants around here have that "taco truck" taste and feel, under seasoned and low quality ingredients and hole in the wall interior. Then me and my family found Vejar. An oasis of 5 START MEXICAN FOOD and EXCELLENT service. Everything I have ordered from Vejar's has been a 5 out of 5, and I'm quite the Mexican food connoisseur! I know a good Mexican restaurant when I see one and this is one of if not the BEST I've been to.....Seriously puts other Mexican food restaurants to shame. Very polite workers as well!
